About you
Helps us point you to the right tools and, if you work with Justin, make your coaching time count.
Money coming in
Your take-home pay (after taxes). Spouse or a second job? Add another income below.
Monthly bills
Everything that isn't a debt: rent, utilities, phone, insurance, groceries, gas, childcare. Add the due day if it has one; leave it blank for things like groceries. Check "Could cut" on anything you'd be willing to cancel or lower.
Debts
Your statements show the balance, interest rate (APR), minimum payment and due date. For loans, add how many payments are left if you know it. Missing the rate or balance? Leave it blank and we'll figure it out from your payments.
Extra toward debt
After bills and minimums, here's what's left each month.
Your plan shows up here
Add at least one debt with a balance, interest rate and minimum payment. Or .
This week
This month at a glance
Check bills off as you pay them. For groceries, gas and other spending, add what you spend and watch what's left. Everything resets at the start of each month.
Plan my year
A few questions about the year ahead. We'll set aside a little each month for the big stuff, so it never lands on a credit card.
Your top 3 places to pay extra
Minimums are always covered first. Then your extra goes here, in this order.
What to pay from each paycheck
Line up your bills with your paychecks
How to ask for a new due date
- Call the number on your statement or look for "change due date" in your online account or app.
- Most card companies, car lenders and student loan servicers allow it, often once a year.
- The first bill after the change can be a little higher or lower while it catches up. Keep paying until the new date shows on your statement.
- Rent, utilities and phone bills sometimes move too. It never hurts to ask.
Calls that save you money
A five-minute call can save more than months of extra payments. Pick one, use the script, and be polite but direct. Most companies have more room than the first person you talk to will say.

Starter emergency fund
A small cushion keeps one flat tire or sick kid from going back on a credit card. Build it first, then go hard on debt.
Timing tips
Small changes in when you pay can cut interest too.
- Ask your lender how they apply early or split payments. Some hold partial payments until the full amount arrives.
- Mark extra payments "apply to principal," or your lender may just move your next due date.
- Never skip a minimum or a due date to do this. Late fees and credit damage cost more than you save.
Put your due dates on your phone
Download a calendar file with a monthly reminder for every bill and debt that has a due day. Open it on your phone to add them to Google or Apple Calendar.
